JOB SUMMARY
The video technician provides support to live artistic programming at the Walker Art Center under the supervision of Walker full-time staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Video set up from layout drawings/information
- Q-Lab programming and operation
- Live video mixing
- Troubleshooting a wide variety of video gear
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 2 years in audio video (AV) set up and troubleshooting
- Preferred experience in Q-Lab programming and operation
- Preferred experience in live video mixing
- Experience working with a variety of video projector brands (Barco knowledge preferred)
- Skills in other technical areas outside of video are valued
POSITION SPECIFICS
- Part-time, project based, Non-exempt, $25 hourly.

Ends June 2023.
This position is covered by the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) labor contract.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Comfortable with working at heights required by hydraulic lifts, extension ladders and theatrical grids.
