Overview and Functional Purpose
Investigative Support Analysts provide task-specific analytical support to designated criminal and civil investigations conducted by the U. S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS).
The Investigative Support Analyst supports Inspection Service criminal programs, including, but not limited to, mail fraud, narcotics, prohibited mailings, money laundering, and organ zed crime. This position will provide investigative support to US Postal Inspectors conducting inter-agency operations.
Part Time Position
This is a Part Time position. The number of hours available each month will vary based upon workload, not to exceed 129 hours in a month. The work is performed Monday through Saturday 7:30am to 1:00pm. Ability to work on off days with short notice is desired.
The compensation being offered will be an hourly rate of $39.69, which is the annual equivalent of $47,623 if you were to work the available 129 hours each month. You would also be eligible for all the benefits offered by WRG including our health benefit, sick leave and a 401(k) plan.
Skills and Ability Requirements
Required Education and Work Experience
A Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university AND a minimum of five years of law enforcement experience participating in complex criminal investigations. Prior Postal Inspection Service experience is desired.
An active Top Secret Clearance is desired.
