Be able to perform essential job functions

Work schedule varies; 40 hours/week; 7 days/week operation.

Assist with providing safety and law enforcement. Assist with patrols of State Park property and boundaries to ensure the safety of visitors and park grounds. Work involves foot patrol, motorized vehicle, motor boat and bicycling patrols.

Assist with emergency situations, accidents, organizing search and rescue parties, and administers CPR and First Aid when needed.

Participate in formal classroom instruction and physical training to obtain authority to exercise the power of arrest.
