Summary

The Employee Relations Specialist functions with a high degree of autonomy, and is responsible for providing professional level employee and labor relations for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA) and TGNA Manufacturing Companies (AMCs).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Support union negotiations and monitor Americas manufacturing companies’ Labor Relation Issues
Identify and deliver Americas manufacturing companies’ Employee Relations training needs (non-investigation related)
Create, update, and maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
Conduct KPI Analyses and provide info to Management
Procure attendance data, monitor, and follow up on issues
Communicate with management and HR Benefit/Payroll group
Create company policies, implement, and update them and support standardization activities
Create presentation materials for meetings and presentations
Support Workplace Survey & monitor Americas manufacturing companies’ countermeasures
Conduct Exit Interviews
Manage Compressed Work Week (aka: Flex Schedule) program
Manage Tuition Reimbursement Program
Design and provide New Hire Orientation (Employee Relations portion)
CONCUR (Online Travel & Expense Report) support/admin
Create Request for Approvals
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies

Associates degree in related field, preferably with Human Resources
Minimum of three years of Human Resources Employee Relations work experience
Experience in the automotive supply industry preferred
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suites 2007 or newer is required
Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required
Effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills with all staff and management are required
Effective attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills is required
