REISER is a family-owned, privately-held, international supplier of food processing and packaging equipment. The company is headquartered in Canton, MA, with subsidiaries in Canada and the UK. COLLECTIONS / CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

Our Collections staff is not only responsible for providing a full range of credit and collections support for our US customer base but also viewed as an extension of Customer Service. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of three years relevant work experience, the ability to hit the ground running with a hands-on approach, and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate a history of proven success in researching, analyzing, diagnosing and resolving issues, along with excellent influencing skills, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to facilitate collaborative working relationships within our Sales, Service, and Accounting departments, all while maintaining a high level of service to our valued customers.

DUTIES / TASKS:
Provide general collections support to all areas of sales and leasing. Facilitate the effective resolution of customer collection issues. Update and maintain the customer receivables database by entering collection notes, credit ratings, and other information. Day-to-day hands on responsibility for the following:

Make Collection calls!
Establish and maintain customer credit
Resolve cash application discrepancies
Research product return problems, etc.
Resolve customer issues related to billing

REQUIREMENTS & DESIRED SKILLS:
Prior collections experience dealing with National Accounts is a bonus.
Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred
Customer Service experience
Effective written and oral communication
Strong research abilities, and desire to resolve issues
Ability to influence and attain closure on collection issues
Ability to act decisively in all problem resolution areas of responsibility
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong computer skills
A sense of urgency!
