Evolutionary Wellbeing is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist to work as an independent contractor in our McLean, VA office. Part-time position open, with the opportunity to build to full-time.

We are a growing multi-disciplinary and integrative practice offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy working with child, adolescent, and adult populations. APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE:

Licensed to practice in the state of Virginia, with 3 years of previous experience minimum. Demonstrate strong organizational and professional skills and the ability to work independently within the context of a group practice.

The ideal therapist would be well trained in psychodynamic theories and familiarity with CBT, mindfulness, developmental awareness, and family systems. Having an interest in holistic and integrative approaches would be a plus. Other theoretical orientations and niches welcome. Ideally, the candidate would be able to work with clients across the age span, however- not a requirement. The most critical skills will be an interpersonal approach to therapy, warmth and the ability to establish and maintain a therapeutic alliance, a sense of humor imbued with kindness and respect, the ability to maintain healthy boundaries, and the effective use of self.

*Applicant should be able to work at least 2 days of late afternoon, evening hours, or weekend hours. Experience working with children and adolescents will receive preferential consideration.
