We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, dynamic professional in our Ridgefield facility:

Engineer II

Directly responsible for the preliminary through detailed design of systems for utility systems and process unit operations. Develops process and utilities strategies, P&ID's, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts. Performs system startup, troubleshooting. Serves as an engineering resource to other groups within the Corporation. Develops and maintains corporate engineering standards and specifications. Assists in preparing capital project approval forms for senior management approval. Provides cost estimates for new systems and equipment as well as modifications or upgrades to existing equipment and systems.

Manages discipline specific and/ or equipment related capital projects. Develops process control strategies, P&ID's, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts. Programs PLC and SCADA systems. Implements instrumentation changes and loop tuning.

Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree and 3-6 years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Rockwell FTView SE, Rockwell Historian, Rockwell Batch, Rockwell Vantage Point, Rockwell Transaction Manager Automation experience is preferred.

AutoCad skill is preferred. AutoCad Electrical & P&ID a plus.

Demonstrated ability to lead/manage small to mid-size projects.

Excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Use of Windows/MS Office, MS Project, Outlook, general office productivity software

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to multi-task

Self-starter with hands-on work inclination
