CableCom is looking for a Warehouse Data Analyst to join our team in Fairfield, California. This is a remote position, however the candidate must be available to come into the Fairfield office as needed. This position is responsible for analyzing and forecasting materials and work in order to support business operations. This position will also be responsible for audits, data analysis, and partnering with internal customers to drive performance in Comcast Inventory Financial Application (CIFA) and Business as Usual (BAU) warehouses. This position reports directly to the Director of Logistics, and has no direct reports. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be capable of working in all temperatures, climates and weather conditions, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Partner with area Supervisors/Managers to accurately forecast work and materials.
Frequently researches, analyzes and consolidates data using a variety of databases and software.
Occasional responsible for data entry and P2 system reporting.
Assists with warehouse audits for 11 CIFA locations. This includes cycle counts, reviewing backorder reports, and resolving any receiving errors.
Audits physical inventory and associated documentation.
Responsible for material forecasting.
Monitors internal database for corrupt data and resolves issues as needed.
Review orders for BAU warehouses.
Serve as the point of contact for all internal database issues.
Download and distribute data to all facilities.
Other duties as assigned.
1 year previous experience in Data Base Management.
Proficient with Excel and Google Sheets.
Ability to analyze and interpret data.
Strong critical thinking skills: root cause analysis, develop solutions and evaluate results.
Experience in the telecommunications, utility, engineering, or construction industries preferred.
