The Job

The communications specialist
will be based in Houston, Texas, and will work with the marketing
communications manager to coordinate and execute all campaigns from marketing
to internal communications—traditional to digital. This is a fast-growing
company, and we need a person who is eager to build a long-term career in oil
and gas.

Work with internal stakeholders
to develop campaigns for internal and external communications

event support including actively participating on planning team, helping with
event communications, ordering/sending supplies, and providing on-site support
for trade shows and other special events

and create of graphics and illustrative copy

create, and distribute content marketing deliverables with input from internal
stakeholders and subject matter experts

projects for final QC before print or distribution

participate in team meetings by providing project status

online, email, and social media marketing initiatives, applying best practices
and monitoring trends

established vendor relationships

inventory of marketing literature/giveaways and order replenishment as needed

with submitting, filing, and tracking purchase orders and invoices

on other communications projects/duties as requested by the team

The Qualifications

degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related
field is required

in MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud is required

Exceptional writing, editing, and
verbal communication skills are required

Event creation, planning, and
execution experience is preferred

in B2B marketing, communications, or public relations is preferred

Must work well independently and
also be able to collaborate with a team

project and time management skills

with social media platforms for business applications

with CMS, Google Analytics, and SEO is a plus
