Account Associate (Inside Sales Entertainment Industry)

Vectorworks, Inc. is adding an Account Associate (Inside Sales) to our Spotlight, and Vision product direct sales team! Under the direction of the Team Manager, you will be tasked with developing and managing relationships with existing and potential customers for one of the world's top Computer-aided Design (CAD) software platforms! In this role you will collaborate daily with members of the entertainment and lighting design community.

In this role, you should expect to:
Work with management and other departments to develop our story, plan approaches and tailor pitches.
Identify potential clients and decision makers within the organization.
Prospect companies to identify new business opportunities and support the organizations revenue goals.
Work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns and objectives.
Make 40 telephone sales calls per day.
Conduct outreach to leads generated by the marketing department.
Educate potential clients on the value of our CAD/BIM software.
Manage leads and schedule qualified product demonstrations and/or face-to-face meetings to reach performance-based goals from call to close.
Help drive attendance to regional events and trainings by reaching out to prospects in given regions.
Travel to national trade shows and meetings.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, etc. or related field is preferred. BFA in Theatre Design or related field is a plus!
Solid understanding of business concepts and the ability to quickly learn software & technology tools.
Confidence presenting information over the phone to business decision makers.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A hunter mentality.
A competitive drive with a tenacious attitude.
The ability to take direction and work independently.

Extra credit:
Experience in lighting design and design software is a plus!
Experience with CAD/BIM software
