CNC Machine Operator
This position is within a new department here at our company. The candidate will have the opportunity to help develop processes and standards. Initially the flow of work through CNC is not at full capacity so you will get to work in many functions and as the shop grows you will mentor others and become more focused in your work.
Responsibilities
· Setup and operate 5 and 3 axis CNC machines with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls
· Change fixture systems in CNC equipment
· Inspect finished parts using hand inspection tools and on machine probe
· Management, assembly, and measurement of tool systems (tool crib functions)
· Steel rule knife bending with CNC knife bender
· Assembly and cleaning of finished thermoform tooling
· Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas
Qualifications
· 2+ years of experience
· Familiarity with G code
· Preferred experience with Heidenhain controls
· Preferred experience with presetters and shrink fit systems
· Preferred experience with blum lasers and Renishaw CNC probes

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
