As Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing the Marketing Vision, taking direction from the CEO and outside marketing consultants, and turning that vision into successfully functioning marketing campaigns that meet or exceed the stated goals. In service of this purpose, you will grow a marketing team that contains all the skills needed to deliver highly functioning campaigns. You will be responsible for leading and guiding the professional development of the marketing team members.

You have strong online marketing and sales conversion experience, are able to create and evaluate online strategy options, can project manage campaigns, and will execute powerfully with our dedicated team.

The Director of Marketing will be accountable for Bright Line Eating’s marketing department. Areas of Responsibility:
Create and maintain the overall Marketing Vision, taking direction and input from the CEO, using guidance provided by outside experts as needed, and consulting with the Leadership Team.
Transform the Marketing Vision into specific project plans for successful implementation that clearly identify who needs to do what, by when, so that the whole team can work together as a highly functioning unit.
Make maximum use of the marketing team’s skills, developing those skills and identifying skill gaps that need to be filled for successful implementation of marketing campaigns.
Work with team members, the Leadership Team, the CEO, and CFO to define individual KPIs.
Manage all online marketing campaigns.
Develop and manage marketing plans, promotions, and messaging for a range of online products.
Manage and grow existing and new evergreen campaigns.
Manage lead generation activities.
Manage, increase, and track social media presence in collaboration with our social media team.
Liaise with any marketing partners to manage and track progress with partner marketing campaigns.
Manage and lead marketing department on project development, management, and follow-through.
Work closely with Program Delivery on customer retention.
Create and maintain an effective customer journey that results in consistent leads and sales.
Be aware of training opportunities in the marketplace that would support and aid the marketing team members in growth. Support the marketing team members in their individual efforts to advance their knowledge, skills, and professional development.

Functional Skills:
Able to identify niches, define best customers, create strong messaging, and implement campaigns to penetrate various market niches.
Possesses strong analytical abilities to track KPIs and tweak campaigns to optimize conversions throughout the customer acquisition process.
Possesses strong project management and detail-oriented skills, and keeps people and projects on time.
Proficient with Excel and Google Sheets.
Proficient in all aspects of online marketing sufficient to guide the team members in every marketing role - social media, paid advertising, graphic design, copywriting, video creation, data analytics, split testing, traffic management, affiliate management, website design, app design, etc.

Prior Work Experience and Education Required:
Have a minimum of 3 years online marketing experience. You have hands-on experience with 7-figure online launches and marketing funnels, including knowledge and experience with social media marketing, email marketing, list building, online sales, landing pages, conversion techniques, and progressive upselling of online customers.
Possess a proven track record for consistent lead generation, sales conversion, and customer retention.
Have at least 3 years experience managing teams (preferably in a virtual setting) and projects.
Possess a reputation for keeping everyone on track, proven project management and planning skills, and the ability to oversee and implement multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously that have critical event timelines.
Have experience in overseeing the design and implementation of online marketing technologies, including website development, shopping carts and CRM systems, DRIP marketing, and performance measurement of these technologies.
Demonstrate measurable results in increasing conversion rates with A-B split testing, proposed KPIs, and other techniques to constantly monitor, test, and improve sales results.
Possess experience with Infusionsoft and Salesforce, or a similar platform.
Have experience working with third parties, including sponsor and affiliate marketing programs through other people’s lists (required); additionally, experience with channel/business development via other distribution channels would be ideal.
