Candidate should have hands on experience in working in Production Support environment. ? Conveyed open client issues and helped maintain client production environment. ? Performed Unix Scripting and oversaw Linux servers. ? working directly with the system’s source code to make necessary changes to ensure reliable performance and then deploy those changes throughout the system. ? Should know how to debug/troubleshoot memory issues ? Performed top level troubleshooting and escalated known issues to the quality team. ? Must have knowledge on architectural concept regarding console servers for Linux ? Good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process and Run levels ? NIS Management and Administration ? NFS export migration from one storage to another ? Installation and Administration of Linux-HA clusters ? 1500+ Servers Handling Experience ? provide technical support and guidance to users and other administrators ? Linux Booting Process. ? Knowledge on VMware and Windows at least L1/L2 task. ? Administration of Windows workstation and VMware ESXi hosts. ? Windows VM installation and Decommission. ? Storage: knowledge of storage administration and the concepts of file systems, disk partitions, mounts, quotas, mirroring and sizing. ? Should understand the Datacenter IT infrastructure ? Provision storage requirements troubleshoot escalated issues, Prepare Incident & RCA. ? Basic knowledge on virtualization VMware, Windows, Linux and Database. ? Vendor coordination, track/escalate issues submitted to storage vendors. ? Document new technical procedures and processes developed. ? Identify new process and procedure improvements. ? Willing to work in 24x7 Environment ? maintain system security by actively identifying faults and vulnerable areas within the system’s architecture Desired Qualifications: ITIL v3 trained and/or ITIL v3 certified Experience with VMWare & Windows administration Experience with NetApp Storage
