Overview
Plan, develop, and administer a variety of major human resources management programs for the site including employment, wage and salary administration, employee communications, employee training and staff development, benefits and other related human resources activities. Coordinate and monitor activities to ensure compliance of programs with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines as well as conforming with Lippert's human resources management policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems
Conducts all recruitment efforts for the site
Conducts/monitors new-hire orientations
Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed
Maintains human resources information system records and compiles reports
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
Consults with department managers to determine appropriate human resources priorities
Participates in representing the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution
Minimum 1+ years of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Experience in a manufacturing setting
