The Star Micronics Headquarters is currently recruiting for a Channel Partner/Account Associate to join our Sales Force. This position will offer an incredible opportunity to impact sales, growth and future direction for Star Micronics America, already a growing industry leader. Location is open, however, West Coast preferred!!

The Channel Partner / Account Associate will drive new sales and develop joint marketing initiatives by maintaining and building relationships with our Partner Distributors, Resellers and Independent Software Vendors. The ideal candidate will proactively grow Star's Channel pipeline, while also developing and training our current Distributors/Resellers to become self sufficient in marketing and selling our products.


  • Support Star’s Distributors/Resellers/ and ISV Channels in all facets of education, training & sales development
  • Organize and manage action plans for resolution or development of customer initiatives
  • Identify and develop a pipeline of strategic partners committed to selling Star’s products
  • Travel to our Distributors/Ressler/Customer locations monthly and maintain daily collaboration to support challenges, present solutions, and promote value proposition through bundled solutions offerings
  • Prepare professional product presentations and/or conduct sales demos aimed to educate and accelerate channel partner acquisition and revenue
  • Structure, Negotiate, and Execute Approved Distributor Pricing to support and close opportunities
  • Maintain an understanding of Star’s Technology and ability to articulate to our partners
  • Liaise with Marketing and Participate in industry events/trade shows

  • Sales and/or Customer Relations Experience, POS Solutions/and or technical sales experience a plus
  • Professional written and oral communication skills required
  • Professional presentation skills with ability to overcome objections
  • Microsoft Office experience required; Salesforce desirable
  • Excellent technical and/or mechanical skills required
  • College Education Preferred, preferably in technology field OR equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel 30%- 40%
  • Valid Driver’s License
