Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team. The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for overseeing and executing various carpentry projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines. We are a remodeling company with the majority of our work in the Farmington Valley. Our projects range from small repairs to complete house remodel and additions. We cover all phases of residential remodeling.

Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan carpentry projects
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Lead a team of carpenters and construction workers on-site
- Perform tasks such as framing walls, installing doors, windows, and molding
- Fabricate and install cabinets, shelving, and countertops
- Handle tasks related to siding, roofing, and painting
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations on construction sites
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in a leadership role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical documents
- Strong knowledge of various carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to lead a team effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members
Skills:
- Proficiency in general maintenance person tasks
- Experience with construction painting
- Knowledge of siding installation techniques
- Ability to build structures from the ground up
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols
- Competency in blueprint reading for project planning
- Skills in door hanging and installation
- Capability to fabricate custom woodwork pieces
- Experience in roofing projects
