ImprimisRx is one of the nation’s leading ophthalmology compounding businesses ImprimisRx is headquartered in San Diego, CA and operates two production and dispensing facilities based in Ledgewood, New Jersey. ImprimisRx’s 503B outsourcing facility produces formulations for office use in accordance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), the highest federal quality standards for drug manufacturers in the country. Its 503A pharmacy produces customizable, patient-specific formulations pursuant to a physician prescription for several chronic care needs. There have been over one million eyes served by the formulations produced at these facilities.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Marketing Associate is responsible for the supporting activities related to tactical plans, congresses, public relations, account management and media initiatives for the ImprimisRx brand and formulations. Part of the commercial team, the Marketing Associate assists the Marketing Team in all aspects of the execution of marketing plans, CRM management, identification of new opportunities, coordination of research, media management, and meeting logistics.
Core responsibilities of the Marketing Associate include: tactical support, research; media placement management, streamlining business processes, training materials, collaboration with internal departments; partnering with field sales team and development of compelling client materials; and ensuring the portfolio performance achieves defined outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Work as part of the commercial team to define and enhance sales support materials and the market positioning for the formulations, and to drive sales of the entire portfolio.
Entering new opportunities and expanding account profile in the Dynamics 365 CRM.
Support plans related to the portfolio promotion which are based on an accurate understanding of customer needs, market trends and alternative options.
Facilitate, coordinate and partake in various aspects of managing key accounts and key opinion leaders.
Manage various promotional forums (workshops, round-tables, sponsored meetings, congresses, etc.) planned and facilitated in order to showcase the ImprimisRx brand and formulations. Including payment, booth coordination, program updates and shipping materials.
Conduct as needed physician portal training sessions with physician and physician staff.
Manage print and digital advertising plan.
Interface with all marketing vendors.
Ensure efficient and effective operations by streamlining work processes wherever possible
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
1-2 years’ experience in brand management support, product promotion, sales and marketing.
Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally.
Solid independent judgment and initiative required.
Superior communication and written skills internally and externally.
Superior phone etiquette.
Ability to work within established timeframes, deadlines, and understanding next steps.
Ability to multitask, adjusting priorities as needed.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Proficiency in standard MS Office software products, including Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to become proficient with Dynamics 365 CRM.
Some experience with Adobe Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator a plus.
Familiarity working with web/print media platforms preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree is required.

This role is located in an office environment with exposure to computer screens, noise, telephone use and electrical energy. The role has extensive contact with internal staff, external staff, physicians, pharmacy staff and patients.
