Full Job Description
Drive solution architecture for program using SaaS and IaaS technologies and cloud-based hosting platforms. Architect and develop solution approach, estimate efforts and guide implementation teams from initiation to deployment and implementation of the systems or applications. Comprehend and assess the "whole picture" of solution and implementation process. Maintain responsibility for driving architecture, design, and implementation of key elements to integrate a wide variety of software, tools, and applications.
5+ years of experience with designing software, applications, and systems
Experience with solution architecture, particularly in software integration, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS implementation, cloud, infrastructure, data architecture, and cybersecurity
Experience with Amazon AWS, Salesforce, MuleSoft, SaaS, and IaaS software integration
Knowledge of software engineering, integration, cloud computing, and data architecture
Knowledge of DoD FedRAMP process, cybersecurity and all phases of the DoD Risk Assessment process
Ability to develop architecture diagrams, presentations, technical proposals, analysis of alternatives and documentation.
Ability to analyze business needs, research possible solutions, and define solution implementation approach
BA or BS degree
Experience with DevOps methods and tools
Experience with development methodologies, including COTS analysis and selection
Experience with designing cloud-ready, independent applications and systems using open source products
Knowledge of data architecture, database design, and interface development
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent client interfacing skills, including conceptualizing technology implementations in terms of business outcomes
