Description of Duties/Essential Functions
Under administrative direction of the Area Administrator, serves as Sexual Abuse Investigations Team Supervisor; plans, supervises, reviews, and coordinates the activities of a team of professional investigators engaged in conducting child abuse investigations involving allegations of sexual abuse; provides technical direction and guidance; explains, monitors, and enforces compliance with the provisions of all applicable state or federal laws and Department rules and procedures; serves as working supervisor; refers instances requiring potential disciplinary action to Area Administrator; establishes and implements a team-based program of staff development and training; establishes and maintains effective linkages with community organizations; serves as liaison with permanency staff to coordinate and facilitate efficient and effective case handoff and client services.

Minimum Requirements
Requires a master's degree in social work from a recognized college or university and three years administrative child welfare experience or a master's degree in an acceptable human services field from a recognized college or university and four years administrative child welfare experience; requires a valid driver's license.

Specialized Skills:
Of the previously noted years of experience, requires that the experience involve the administration of child protection services/investigations.
