JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Internal Audit Associate is to execute annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts as well as support individual internal audit projects included in the internal audit plan. This position will support the department through testing controls, documenting processes, evaluating risk, assessing mitigating controls, building control awareness throughout the company, and supporting remediation and improvement efforts.
Work performed will primarily include testing the operational effectiveness of internal controls. It will also include documenting and updating key process documentation using MS Visio flowcharting software and provide general task and administrative support to the Internal Audit department. The Internal Audit Associate will participate in the various financial and operational company audits and projects in accordance with the Company’s annual audit plan. To accomplish these tasks, the Internal Audit Associate will communicate and work with other members of the Company’s Internal Audit department, as well as with individuals from various departments throughout the organization, communicating in person, by phone, and by email.

Experience in an audit or accounting position
Accounting or Information Systems Major
At least in your Junior year
Minimum 3.7 GPA
Reports to the Internal Audit Manager
