Summary: The Commercial Property Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing operations of non-self-storage leased spaces at managed properties across the USA (including apartments, retail spaces, offices, and warehouses). They work directly with the field operations team, marketing team, accounting department, maintenance teams, as well as local leasing agents, in some cases.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- leases for tenants and potential tenants. Includes creating, signing, negotiating, updating, and maintaining lease agreements.
- Work with internal team as well as third party vendors to repair and maintain leased spaces and common areas, maintain occupancy as high as possible, and
ensure properties are covered from an insurance and licensing standpoint.
- Manage pricing, renewals, rate changes, CAM billing for non-storage spaces.
- Gather key statistics and financial data to prepare reports for owners and management.
- Correspond and communicate with tenants, prospects, and property owners.
- Manage marketing of available spaces, coordinating with marketing department and field operations teams.
- Coordinate property tours with prospects and local operations teams.
- Analyze trends, markets, close rates, and leases to generate ideas to enhance income.
- Assist in annual budgeting process.
- Additional duties/projects as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Requirements: Post-Secondary Education or Real Estate License desired, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate leasing and/or management. A team player that is energetic and motivated with effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong understanding of culture, its role in a successful company and respect of existing culture and company traditions
- College degree or Real Estate License desired
Language Skills: Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.
Work Hours: In a typical week, this position requires a minimum of 40 hours and could include some weekend work and travel.
Work Environment: This work is usually performed indoors in an office environment with normal noise levels and no exposure to hazardous conditions.
