The McCarton Foundation is a non-profit organization on a mission to bring exceptional treatment and services to children with autism. We believe in the ability that exists within every child who has autism, and that all children deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential. Over the past two decades we’ve transformed the lives of thousands of children from around the globe through the McCarton Center for Developmental Pediatrics, the McCarton School for children with autism, and the Children’s Academy for children with speech and language learning delays. We utilize the McCarton Integrated Model, which combines speech and language therapy, fine and gross motor therapy, sensory integration therapy, socialization with peers, developmental play skills and applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy.
The McCarton Center Bronx is looking for an experienced, Early Intervention staff recruiter, with a background in staffing and recruiting for our Early Intervention programs in NYC. Our recruiter/staffing coordinator will oversee our Human Resources department as well as work closely with our hiring managers. In this position you will network with possible applicants through community networking events, online sources, advertising, and marketing programs.
In this position you will also recruit qualified independent contractors to serve as home providers for the McCarton Foundation. As we are a growing new agency, we will need to be constantly recruiting new independent providers to help provide quality services to children in New York City. You will also serve as the point of contact for all independent contractors, and ensure that our agency has all the required paperwork for billing and Quality Assurance purposes. Having a network of high-quality providers in the Bronx would be ideal.
As staff coordinator you will also be responsible for organizing and scheduling independent contractor providers to ensure that our agency is able to meet all of our service needs. It is essential that the coordinator is familiar with the Early Intervention program and its policies and regulations as well as federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
This a full-time position intended to fill 40 hours per week. Full health benefits are provided.

Recruit, serve as point of contact, and manage scheduling for all independent contractor providers
Ensure all staff and independent contractor providers have appropriate certification, continuing education hours, current licensure, etc.
Represent the organization at job fairs and other recruitment venues so that potential candidates have an opportunity to learn about the organization and its recruitment activities
Communicate & partner with staffing agencies and community organizations, providing updates regarding our staffing needs
Audit preparation when needed
Organize and schedule staff so that the organization is fully staffed to meet the needs of the children and families we serve
Bachelors or Associates Degree
Must have 1-3 years of Early Intervention Program related staffing/recruiting experience for an agency in New York City
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Must be able to to establish and prioritize tasks
Highly proficient computer skills
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Passionate about finding quality teachers and therapists for families receiving our services
Eager to expand our staff
Organizational and planning skills are imperative
