Job summary

The Red Hat Facilities team is looking for a Workplace Program Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. This role will reside within the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team, reporting to the Global Senior Manager of Workplace Innovation. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for program management responsibilities that identify and deliver against Red Hat’s real-estate portfolio objectives in alignment with recent acquisition activity. You will help develop, implement, and manage a GWS strategic synergy planning program that enables enterprise value driven by acquisition activity.

Primary job responsibilities
Develop synergy program framework that manages key acquisition findings and value-driven opportunities throughout Red Hat’s facilities worldwide
Serve as program management point of contact for stakeholders, including GWS, IT, HR, finance, and acquisition partners
Partner with the Senior Manager of Workplace Innovation to develop strategic synergy planning roadmap in alignment with overarching acquisition leadership objectives
Program-manage the day-to-day activities to produce and report gap analysis of facilities-related standards and implementations of agreed-upon remediation efforts compliant to identified guidelines and policies
Required skills
Perform program development, program management, and program evolution planning
Ability to partner with various GWS subject matter experts to identify and translate acquisition-driven synergistic findings and opportunities throughout the corporate real-estate property life cycle
Reporting capability to produce tools and frequent analytics that provide program metrics and general program and project progression status
Knowledge of and experience working with functional owners translating real-estate and facilities, health and safety, and security guidelines and standards
Sound knowledge of the various stakeholder touch points commonly found through corporate real estate and IT pertaining to acquisition activities
Strategic presentation skills applying requirements, challenges, opportunities into clearly articulated business cases
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to operate strategically
Stakeholder and partner collaboration and persuasion skills
Demonstrated leadership capabilities including the ability to lead and shape program awareness, implementation requirements, and the overall program impact analysis

Qualifications and Credentials:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience related to program and project management within the corporate real estate, facilities, and workplace industry
5+ years of corporate facilities and corporate real estate experience
General understanding and awareness of workplace guidelines and standards differences driven by local country and regional requirements
Experience working within a global enterprise with mindfulness of cultural differences and open decision-making framework
Possess working knowledge of program and project management tools like spreadsheets and presentation applications
Ability to accurately interpret customer needs, assess requirements, and identify solutions
Demonstrated customer service focus and experience
PMP certification or equivalent career experience is a plus
Ability to work in across-functional team environment with excellent collaboration skills
Record of managing multiple simultaneous and strategic projects or large-scale cross-group initiatives
Affiliation with organizations like CoreNet, IFMA, or similar is a plus
