FIS is seeking a talented individual to join one of our Account Teams as a Programmer Analyst Senior. A skilled programmer with experience in banking or financial applications is needed. Experience with the FIS Systematic Customer Information System (RM) application is highly desired. Experience and knowledge of other FIS Systematics applications will also be considered. The Programmer Analyst Senior position works closely with the client, business analysts, and other FIS programmers to understand the customer's business requirements and develops quality solutions to meet the bank's business needs. Responsibilities include working in a team environment on small to large complex projects that require analysis and research, frequent communication with customers and peers, and strong problem resolution skills.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes requirements, and translates business requirements into product designs.
Develops program logic for new programs or analyzes and modifies logic in existing program.
Code, test, debug, document, maintain and successfully implement improvements or enhancements to software applications.
Develops and implements technical design solutions which meet business and system objectives and minimize impact on operations.
Align technical design solutions with business and IT strategies that comply with the organization's architectural standards and goals.
Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems.
Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry.
Conducts planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
May provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.
Provides software application support. Includes day and night call responsibilities.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
5+ years of experience supporting one or more of the FIS Systematic Customer Information System (RM) application.
Experience or knowledge in any of the FIS-Systematics Applications will also be considered. Customer Statement (SC), Tax Reporting (TX), Architecture Systems (TS/GN), Integrated Monetary Processing and Control System IMPACS (IM), Certification Tracking (HX), Intersystem Transfer (IT), and Savings Time (ST).
Be well versed in the use of various IBM Mainframe technologies: IBM zO/S MVS environment, TSO/ISPF, COBOL, DYL280, VSAM, CICS, JCL, and CA Workload Automation ESP.
Exhibit solid analysis, decision-making, and problem solving skills.
Ability to assess requirements, alternatives, and risks/benefits for low-to-large complex projects
