Hexcel is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Pottsville, PA USA location. This position supports manufacturing processes through estimating, process development, cost reduction efforts, problem resolution, and new program introduction.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

Develop, maintain and support effective, responsive Engineering Support for assigned production pool customers and programs.
Provide day-to-day engineering input and support to production pool personnel required for quality, on-time production.
Provide analytical and organizational support to Engineering Manager as required.
Create written instructions and design tools to assist in the fabrication of details, sub- assemblies, and assemblies.
Create Statement of Work (SOW) for the fabrication of tooling at a vendor location.
Provide weekly status to management on current programs.
Provide creativity by proposing new ideas or finds new and better ways of doing things.
Provide daily support of production pool meetings and initiatives.
Adhere to company and plant policies.
Demonstrate the ability to cooperate, work and communicate with co-workers, supervisors and subordinates and/or out side contacts and customers.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and two (2) - five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in fast-paced, competitive engineering and manufacturing environment, preferred.
Solid PC and AutoCad skills required.
Proven verbal and written communication skills are required.
Solid ability to define problems and interpret a variety of technical instructions.
Must have solid organizational skills and be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
CATIA experience a plus.
