Technology Finance is looking for a Supervising Financial Analyst. In this role, you will manage and coach less experienced members of the team on the month end financial close and reporting process, analysis and adherence to accounting principles, using various accounting and reporting systems.
Manage month end book close deliverables and Technology reporting, and report results to management
Assist managers with accurate forecasting and expense management
Prepare ad-hoc analysis & reports for internal and external managers and executives and draw conclusions from financial data. Highlight key areas of concern to management so they can make timely and sound business decisions
Maintain financial and metric results in financial systems (Clarity, ITX, IT Charge, IDSS, Tableau/Power BI reporting environment); Recommend and prioritize financial system enhancements
Adhere to attestation requirements and establish key controls to satisfy audit requests. Manage, complete and respond to all internal and external financial audit requests throughout the year
Provide guidance and support for the annual planning process
Lead and/or play a key role in various financial process improvement projects, working on cross-functional teams
Directly responsible for the performance of individual contributors on the Financial Services team, who perform month end accounting and reporting responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance or Accounting.
Minimum of 5 years progressively more responsible experience in a financial and/or project management environment with exposure to project planning, simulation, modeling, capital budgeting, cost benefit analysis and information systems development.
Strong negotiation skills, oral and written communication skills.
Minimum of 2 years of management experience required
Knowledge of Accounting principles, best practices and key financial concepts preferred
Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for data gathering and reporting and analysis of financial data and key metrics; Understands interrelationships and dependencies among various financial systems preferred
Hyperion Planning, Essbase/SmartView and BI Reporting experience a plus, but not required
