New Bedford Academy located in Lambertville, MI is currently seeking 2 full-time classroom para-professionals, who can also serve as a classroom sub on occasions. Hours are 8:15a.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Parapros work with small groups of students to fill in gaps in learning, provide support in specials classes, assist with lunch & recesses, and sub when necessary. Due to the academic focus, state law requires that parapros either have an associate's degree, 60 credit hours, or have passed a parapro certification test. We require one of those.
New Bedford is a K-8 academy that offers that small neighborhood school feeling with smaller class sizes in big classrooms.
