Part Time Internal Controls Specialist

Business Management Firm - Sherman Oaks, CA


We are a CPA/Business Management firm with approximately 40 employees. We have an entertainment-based clientele incorporating high net worth individuals and executives. This position is to support the Internal Controls Specialist within our environment. This is a part time / temp position for someone that loves detailed work.

We are seeking a part time employee who is eager to work, determined to succeed, and willing to contribute in a small and growing environment. The candidate must have full cycle bookkeeping experience and possess an interest in reconciliations.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Bank and Brokerage Reconciliations
  • Book Investment Activity
  • Maintain “Tracker”
  • Coordinate schedule and tasks with Internal Controls Specialist

Job Requirements

  • Accounting knowledge / experience
  • Ability to determine debits and credits
  • Bank reconciliation experience
  • Critical thinker and ability to problem solve
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Excel and a working knowledge in the Windows environment and Microsoft Office software applications
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
