Verb Surgical has a great opportunity for a self-motivated Executive Assistant to support our Sr. Vice President of Marketing & Business Development and his team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, detail-oriented, organized planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility. A positive attitude despite the pressures of a fast-paced startup environment is essential. The candidate will possess the ability to succeed with minimal guidance or supervision, be skilled at anticipating problems, managing multiple priorities, planning, scheduling, and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.

Professional Experience/Skills/Background to be successful in this role:
Minimum of 4+ years of administrative experience as an Executive Assistant supporting VP and C-level executives.
Expert skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
Proficiency in collaboration, diplomacy and delegation of duties with other EAs and partners
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to create high quality presentations and reports for leadership and Board of Directors reviews
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision and act with high levels of integrity, collaboration, and influence management
Experience in dealing with highly confidential matters including Board of Director preparation
Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners, etc
Excellent time management skills and scheduling / calendar management skills
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Forward looking thinker who is skilled at anticipating business needs, proactively seeking opportunities and proposing solutions

Education/ Training/ Certifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is strongly preferred

Key Accountabilities:
Manage and prioritize the SVP and team calendars, schedules, and communications
Organize meetings, entertainment and events
Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the SVP Marketing and Business Development
Assist with preparation of high quality communications, presentations and reports for Board meetings, strategic planning sessions, Quarterly Business Reviews, etc.
Handle confidential information with tact and political savvy
Liaise with senior management team and other company executives
Collaborate and partner with other Admins, Project Leaders, Department Heads to ensure effective flow of information and understanding of deliverables
Collect and prepare information for meetings and presentations; attend meetings and take minutes; identify and track action items for follow up
Develop process and systems for organizing staff meetings, one on ones and important operational processes in the Department
Arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas. Complete executive expense reports.
Works closely and effectively with the SVP Marketing / Business Development to keep him/her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
Assists in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings and off-sites, and allstaff meetings
Takes on Office Manager duties for the company as needed / requested
Is a great ambassador of the Marketing team and of Verb with a great positive and fun attitude, working with the utmost integrity, being a great collaborator
