Procurement Specialist
Vida Design is a full-service boutique interior design firm in Portland Oregon specializing in urban multi-family, commercial, and hospitality projects. We are looking to expand our team by bringing on a Procurement Specialist who demonstrates excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and possess strong technical skills.
Vida Design is looking for an exceptional Procurement Specialist to join our team! This is a hybrid position where you must reside in the Portland, OR area to be able to work in office as required.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of work experience in a design specific procurement setting. Preferably with experience in multi-family and hospitality.
- Ability to travel to client sites for installs
- Technical abilities to include Microsoft Suite, and comfortability in learning new computer programs (Experience in Ajera &/or Studio Designer are a plus)
- An appreciation for collaboration
- Great communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- A willingness to learn
- The ability to successfully build and maintain relationships both in-house and with clients
- Professional conduct with a friendly and outgoing approach
- The ability to adjust to changing priorities, deadlines, and schedules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Accuracy in documentation and the development of furniture budgets
- Processing orders and accounting for client budget spent
- Tracking product from order to installation
- Coordination with sub-contractors, third party teams, and clients
- Maintenance of project schedule and key deliverable timelines
- Oversight at install
