Obsidian Financial Services, Inc is looking for an experienced Mortgage Recruiter to help expand our footprint throughout the US.
Obsidian Financial is a Direct Mortgage Lender that has found success by offering clients the best rates while leveraging market-leading technology to close loans faster. We can UW, Close and Funds in our own name. We are FHA/SAR approved and can close non-qm loans in our name with best rates. We don’t force our loan officer into a nasty compensation plan. This will gives you leverage on your competition when you are recruiting new loan officers and branch manager’s.
We are currently licensed in 21 states with another 7 pending, HUD and VA approved, with unlimited warehouse space to close any type of loans. As a national recruiter, you will earn anywhere from $100k to $300k a year. We are going to advertise non-stop for you allowing you the ability to just recruit loan officer
- Taking inbound call from Indeed ads, Google campaigns and other means of advertising. NO COLD CALLING
- Ensure that all contracts are sign and delivered via email, and coordinated with licensing to ensure they are properly setup in the NMLS
- Provide pricing to your recruits in our Optimal Blue System, where the margins you have added in.
- Collect and maintain recruitment information about prospective Mortgage Loan Officer
- Communicate and Coordinate with recruits on how to submit loans to UW, or if going non-delegated to best fit the loan officer needs.
- Must have knowledge of all the different programs offered by investors.
- Work with others to ensure that loan officers have a smooth transition when submitting new files.
- Have to make sure your there for all your loan officer needs.
- Paid when the loan from your loans officer have funded

- High school diploma required; advanced degree preferred
- Ability to make 50+ outbound calls per day from daily leads coming in.
- Ability to switch gears quickly and multi-task
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Strengths in communication, time management, attention to detail, and aesthetics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Recruitment experience preferred
- 15 to 20 BPS per loan for LIFE. The sky is the limit. If you recruit 20+ originators who close 2 loans a month, will result in over $15k or more, in over a month.
- We have training programs to aid your loan officers in success.
