Full Job Description
SCAD seeks a senior assessment and curriculum specialist for its Savannah location.
In this role, you will facilitate and oversee the ongoing evaluation of student learning and support services in your assigned academic and administrative areas. You will also monitor the usage of assessment results for continuous unit improvement, guide faculty and academic leaders in the development of curriculum content, and play a critical role in the preparation of narrative and evidence to support ongoing accreditation efforts.
The ideal candidate is both adaptable and flexible when executing goal-oriented plans in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills as well as stellar written and verbal communication. Experience creating innovative, meaningful information displays to a variety of audiences is essential. In addition, the specialist should have the theoretical background and skills necessary to lead the curriculum and assessment process from concept to completion, including the development of course content, articulation of learning outcomes, instrument design and formatting, data collection and entry, descriptive analysis, presentation of results, and discussion of implications and next steps.
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Three years of experience in education, student outcomes assessment, program evaluation, and/or educational research with skills in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, and statistical analysis programs such as SPSS
