Senior Coordinator, Technology Communities Marketing

THE ROLE:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing global marketing support for SEMI’s Technology Communities including SEMI FlexTech, Fab Owners Alliance (FOA), the MEMS and Sensors Industry Group (MSIG), and other technology-focused communities. The coordinator will articulate the trade association values for specific communities across the electronics manufacturing supply chain through social media, website, and other external and internal messaging platforms.

This position is also responsible for executing campaigns and activities for SEMI’s Technology Communities to attract new audiences, drive membership, awareness, and engagement. The position reports to the Senior Director of Segment Marketing and will work closely with SEMI’s Technology Community leaders and HQ Marketing.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees writing, editing, and authenticating of technical and promotional materials
  • Execute on branding to position SEMI as a valuable resource for the electronics manufacturing supply chain
  • Provide consulting and marketing support for Technology Communities – branding, building target profiles, positioning, building value propositions, and disseminate to regional marketing staff and regional technology groups
  • Develop global marketing branding materials, sales tools, communications, collateral, video, PPT slides, and website content for Technology Communities
  • Maintain regular websites (i.e InfoHubs) updates and content review
  • Assist in development of industry articles, blog posts and newsletters
  • Support Public Relations activities and develop PR materials
  • Monitor and improve web, press, and social media, and global engagement performance
  • Global event master calendar management
  • Manage and contribute to member forums

FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE OR PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • B.S. or advanced degree in technology, business or marketing
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience
  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Prezi, Drupal, HubSpot, and NetSuite is a plus
  • Understands technology
  • Track record of being a successful change agent
  • Experience with marketing tools/channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Experience with integrated marketing campaigns
  • Experience developing new target profiles and personas
