Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly inspect, meticulously troubleshoot, proactively maintain, and efficiently repair wind turbines.
- Actively participate in all aspects of wind turbine installation processes and service operations.
- Ensure the conscientious care and upkeep of tools and equipment provided.
- Methodically carry out tasks in strict adherence to manuals and directives from the relevant manager.
- Accurately document and communicate all information in alignment with established procedures.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a wind turbine technician with specific Siemens experience in Maintenance and Troubleshooting.
- Possession of valid GWO (Global Wind Organization) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) certificates.
- Demonstrated responsibility, showcasing effectiveness in collaborative teamwork as well as independent performance.
- A track record of reliability and a positive outlook towards both professional endeavors and life.
- Demonstrated capability to thrive under challenging and adverse work conditions.
- A willingness to commit to extensive travel, encompassing 100% of the work schedule, often requiring extended stays away from home.
- An insatiable thirst for learning and personal development.
- A steadfast dedication to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Proficiency in ascending wind turbines towering up to 300 feet, performing work tasks suspended at significant heights.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, accompanied by an unblemished driving record.
- Certification in First Aid, AED, CPR.
- Completion of OSHA 10 training.
- Immediate availability to commence work.
