Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerk
Hours – Monday-Friday 8-5
Forklift certification required
Working in a fast-paced digital fabric printing plant to ship on-time goods with all necessary paperwork. We sell to online customers (fabric by the yard), cut & sew facilities, and furniture manufacturers. All fabric is printed to order, we print natural fibers as well as heat transfer polyester fabrics.
Currently implementing new processes and procedures to improve workflow and profitability, as well as customer satisfaction.
· Receive in shipments –
o UPS
o FEDEX
o Pallets and rolls from customers, fabric suppliers, fabric finishers
o Print out roll tickets and ensure that inventory is correctly managed within the system and warehouse
· Ship parcels out-
o Ensuring all packing lists, BOL and addresses are correct for each order
§ Weights/Dimensions/PO’s/Packing lists
§ Send packing lists and BOL to customers as asked
o Coordinate correct mode of transportation is used
§ FEDEX/UPS/Truck
§ Rolls of fabric
§ Small packages for online orders
§ Customer Truck packages
§ Pallets
· Coordinate truck transportation for pick up with customer/shipping agents
· Inventory
o Weekly cycle counts
o Ensuring customer owned inventory is adjusted into the system
o Coordinate new fabric item numbers to add into inventory
· Update company ERP system when shipping out packages/parcels
o Shipping numbers- Tracking numbers/PRO numbers
o Close out order for shipping/billing
· Move rolls of fabric from warehouse to print/pressroom
o Update system with changes
· Pull unprinted goods from warehouse for sales orders that directly ship out – no printing required, and update system as required
· Troubleshooting any shipping invoices/questions from accounting and/or customers
· Assist on the backend to ensure on time deliveries
· Attend daily Open Order Report meetings with the team to understand current projects and issues, and urgencies
· Use company software and computer systems to track orders and shipments
· Collaborate with front office, operations, printing and inspection teams to ensure that projects are moving along on time to meet ship dates
· Lift rolls of fabric up to 50lbs
· Standing on concrete floors
