As the Senior Manager of Loss Prevention and Security, you will be responsible for supporting the global development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the corporate security program. You will also plan, direct and coordinate activities related to the protection, safeguarding and security of XPO assets, clients, employees, guests and others. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Lead a team of loss prevention and security professionals in supporting companywide risk mitigation efforts; champion the employee awareness program throughout the facility to promote a culture of honesty and responsibility
Design, implement and monitor security and loss prevention policies, procedures and programs to support established goals and objectives with given priorities, time limitations and fiscal responsibilities
Plan, examine, analyze, evaluate and supervise security operations, including physical security assets and security personnel; perform audits on a regular basis, including physical surveys of premise security, security equipment condition and evaluations of vendor compliance
Prepare performance reports (audit findings, investigations, reports of losses, violations, threats, dangers or perceived and/or identified risks, etc.) for operations management and executive leadership team
Develop and maintain vendor relationships in support of security and loss prevention; vendors may include contract guard service, CCTV, off-duty police and other security support companies
Direct and coordinate security and loss prevention functions, including personnel actions such as recruitment, selections, transfers, promotions, counsel and discipline or dismissal measures; consult with HR as appropriate
Identify and resolve security and/or loss-related concerns or problems; conduct and/or direct internal investigations of any losses or violations of company regulations, policies and procedures
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security, Supply Chain or a closely related field, or equivalent work experience
10 years of experience in the field of corporate security, including experience in a distribution/warehousing environment
Security and Compliance Trade Association and certifications (ASIS, TAPA, IAI, ATAP)
Certification in Wicklander-Zulawski interview and interrogations
Thorough knowledge of CCTV, alarms, badge access, robotics and other security technology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with Windows applications

Record of strong work ethic with a high level of integrity, verified in accordance with company policies and employment laws
