Second Avenue, alongside its parent company, Residential Homes Group, is recruiting a Senior Acquisition Agent/Market Leader for the Indianapolis market.
Second Avenue is an alternative, investor driven, privately owned real estate firm focused on solving solutions for home owners while fully streamlining the process of selling a home by purchasing the seller’s house directly, or by brokering it directly though our extensive disposition platform.
While we require real estate licenses for our Agents and Market Leader positions, these are not traditional real estate agent positions. We are looking for a Senior Agent/Market Leader to oversee a team of Acquisition Agents, not a traditional team of listing agents or buyer’s agent. There is NO SHOWING houses and our commission model is structured as a commission sales position, not a typical real estate commission.
Our current agents are experiencing 30-50% higher compensation than any traditional agent and do not have to show houses, driver buyers around all weekend or negotiate with other agents. We also provide our teams with a high volume of pre-screened leads.
Our process is streamlined and is intended to help our agent teams do what they do best – close leads.
Here’s what the position entails:
Leading a market team of agents responsible for buying houses/Properties directly from owners.
Oversight and direction of agents handling both inbound and outbound calls daily as leads for the market are dispatched to individual Acquisition Agents.
Your success will be a direct result of your ability and that of your team of Acquisition Agents to close these leads.
Your goal will be to train, motivate and direct individual agents in writing an aggressive but realistic number of offers each week.
You will use our proprietary tools for analyzing properties and determining our offer prices on individual houses. This will be enhanced by your ability to train individual agents in determining our offer price on leads/houses delegated to them.
You will be fully supported by our experienced acquisition, administrative and closing staff.

What to Expect:
In addition to training with respect to the platform characteristics described above, we will also train you to evaluate properties and compute repair costs based on our criteria.
Sales team leadership experience
Background experience in real estate
Real estate license – Broker’s license preferred
