PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To assist leadership with the day to day operation of the facility; program or department within a medical center dedicated to the care of infants; children and adolescents.
Assist with and serve as a resource for the daily operations of the facility/program. Assist with large and small scale projects which require researching issues, information, data collection and development of recommendations. Monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient work flow and compliance with applicable laws, standards and regulations. Resolve routine problems as they arise and bring non-routine problems to the attention of leadership. Assist with resource identification; perform needs assessment and purchase/rental of patient items. Provide oversight for daily charge capture, reporting and auditing. Plan, direct, implement, coordinate and improve services, technical operations and clinical operations within the department on projects as assigned.
Collaborate multi-departmentally on process and or process improvement; Act as a resource for problem solving. Serve as liaison to appropriate CCHMC departments for resolution of issues as needed. Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with all Cincinnati Children's departments and outside agencies with which the department interacts. Support team members with other duties as assigned.
Participate on CCHMC interdepartmental and/or intradepartmental committees as appropriate. Schedule meetings and prepare agendas. Works collaboratively and openly communicates across many departments regarding clinical, physical and material resources. Keeps key leadership, administrative staff and other stakeholders fully informed of projected and actual developments in a timely manner. Secure input and re-order priorities as necessary. Accurately prepares and presents required and requested data and reports. Serves as a liaison and resource to staff and management. Acts as liaison between healthcare vendors and the medical center.
- Associate's Degree AND Three years of directly related experience 3 years related experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience

- Experience with bookkeeping
