Our organization has served the Vietnamese community in Seattle for 25 years. We have helped thousands of refugees, immigrants and members of the Vietnamese community foster ties to the greater Seattle community. Our mission is to empower Vietnamese-Americans’ social adjustment, family stability, and self-sufficiency while nurturing community service and youth leaders.
We accomplish our work through providing programs that assist Vietnamese immigrants in their effort to settle in their new country, strengthen the Vietnamese community and promote cultural harmony. We work with diverse groups of individuals including adults, seniors, students, recent graduates, and young professionals living in the greater Seattle area.
What We Are Looking For:
Helping Link is seeking a part-time paid event planner to join our collaborative and creative team of volunteers and Executive Director to manage and organize Helping Link’s 25th Celebration Event this fall.
We seek a passionate individual who is interested and skilled in planning and implementing special event logistics. The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate a deep desire for community service, a keen eye for detail, can effectively manage and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines, has the ability to cultivate and expand event sponsorship, is skilled at leveraging and maximizing limited resources, can coordinate and develop event marketing efforts with our media team, and is able to develop metrics for reporting and tracking of goals and measures.
