In this position, you will work as a Corporate Services TCM technician intern. You will be interacting with engineering as well as other technicians maintaining sophisticated chemical and gas delivery systems. Your scope will include all High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) gas and chemical bulk delivery system operations on the Arizona campus.
Year-Round option, Standard components of employee management apply (integration 1:1's, work hours, performance management, etc.)
Interns work a minimum of 20 hours per week (flexibility with Finals Week, etc.) and a max of 30 hours.
Work schedule is determined by Manager/Intern to meet school and business needs.
Priorities for the Intern employee are college first, technician responsibilities second to help you keep priorities balanced. The focus is graduation.
Candidates must be "on schedule" to complete degree program within 2 years as the maximum duration of the Facilities Intern Program is 2 years.
In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Operating and maintaining chemical and gas delivery systems which support High Volume Manufacturing
Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on chemical, solvent, and gas systems.
Some of the job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Safely troubleshoot errors, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment to maintain 100% manufacturing uptime.
Conducts preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance inspections and procedures.
Work day/night shift and weekends to maintain minimum staffing for 24x7 operations, however work schedules will be flexible to accommodate school schedule.
**Work performed within generally defined parameters and some degree of judgment and troubleshooting skill required in resolving nonstandard problems**

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Candidates must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours in an AAS degree program in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, I&C (Instrumentation & Controls), UPW (Ultra-pure Water)/IWS (Industrial Waste Systems) or Engineering over the course of the Internship.
