Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
15 years professional experience in a mix of technical and business roles.
5 years of experience working with growth stage startups in the startup or VC ecosystem.
Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience managing and building effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and executives at customer or partner organizations.
Technical understanding of emerging technologies, open source software, AI/ML, serverless, etc.
Understanding of cloud industry and technology trends, usage trends, and competitive buying behaviors in the enterprise and startup space.

As the Director of Startup Ecosystem at Google Cloud, you will be in a highly visible leadership role, promoting a very important segment of the business — startup companies and delivering industry-changing impact.
In this role, you will define and execute on the strategy and programs that drive Google Cloud adoption across startup companies globally. With a deep level of understanding of early and growth stage companies, VC firms, and incubators, you will develop and drive Google Cloud business relationships with VC firms and in startup communities across priority regions around the globe, and ensure delivery against business performance goals.

Lead all facets of the Startup Ecosystem to deliver measurable outcomes.
Establish Startup Ecosystem strategy and priorities that will determine recruiting and partner development focus, working cross-functionally and with peer teams.
Refine existing programs and develop new programs for delivering critical resources and enabling startup companies on Google Cloud Platform and cross Google solutions.
Engage with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to align strategy and programs.
Be the advocate for the team within Google Cloud, in particular with influencing product, engineering, marketing, and sales strategy.
