The position is in the Defect Analysis Team, triaging and analyzing issues, for the Global Branch Foundation applications within the Wholesale International Program.
This responsibilities and expectations for the role include:
Defects L0/L1 analysis and triaging to validate correctness, simulation and log collection before assigning to relevant development teams
Liaising with multiple test and support teams to re-simulate and gather further logs and evidence.
Review and ensure fixes provided for defects in timely manner by development teams. Prioritize defects to minimize impact on testing.
Identify improvements in Defects management process. Experience on tools like JIRA, ALM & Splunk will be advantage.
Publish defect metrics regularly to all stake holders and actions for further improvements
Daily stand-up calls reporting on outstanding defects by Development and test teams, highlighting trends, priority issues, and defects in an exception status.
Daily stand-up calls with Vendor Development team for latest status on defects on a line item basis, and driving for timely resolution
Retrospective review of quarterly release defects looking for trends and areas for improvement.
Ad-hoc reports, extracts and dashboards to illustrate the state of play.
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
5+ years of application development and implementation experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with business operations and credit, deposit and FX systems such as LoanIQ, Flexcube, FX Calypso, MidasPlus, OpicsPlus, Lucas, RealmMML, or Wallstreet
3+ years of banking finance experience
Other Desired Qualifications
5+ years experience with the Flexcube Universal Banking System
5+ years of Functional Experience : Core banking, Payments domains, Liquidity management, Virtual accounts
3+ years experience of Technology Experience: Oracle database, PLSQL, Java, RESTful/SOAP API, Micro services
Significant experience of International/SWIFT Payments
Experience of Non-Urgent/Batch/Bulk payments
Experience of using HP-ALM and/or JIRA
