A&P MECHANIC for military support operations - Fantastic Opportunity!
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking to Hire a full-time Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to add to our Team, on-site at Fort Smith Arkansas, for fleet of Embraer 312 (A-27) Tucano light attack turbo prop aircraft.
Position will be responsible for:
· Maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting of Airframe and Powerplant systems on the A-27 Tucano
· Operate assigned aerospace ground support equipment and other functions supporting Close Air Support flights
· Remove and/or install aircraft components, test IAW MM, and troubleshoot aircraft systems
· Repair or replace aircraft structures, system, and functional components and other general A&P mechanic duties
· Work with weapon systems and sensors
· Pay $35 - $40 per hour dependent upon experience
· Start date immediately

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant License A&P Required
Ability to travel up to 5%
Ability to pass a drug screening test
Ability to acquire a secret clearance
Able to pass a background check
Clean driving record and safe driving history
EXPERIENCE A PLUS:
Military Aviation background
Active US Federal government security clearance
Turboprop experience
Tucano aircraft experience
PT6 experience
Avionics experience
2+ years demonstrated experience as A&P Mechanic
Knowledge of weapons systems, ejection seats, and MX-15 sensor systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
