Caseworker/Family Support Services-Positions Open Throughout Indiana

H.O.P.E Counseling and Associates Caseworkers and Family Services Coordinators provide home and agency based services to individuals and families involved with the Department of Child Services or Probation. This includes, parents and children who have been separated based on founded allegations, and foster families caring for those children. These services are provided by the following positions:

Home Based Caseworker- provide in-home services that are high quality, family centered and culturally competent by providing parent education and training, supporting healthy and nurturing relationships, and promoting the well-being of children, youth and families through face to face casework. payrate: $38-$40per hour

Father Engagement Caseworker- actively works with DCS employees to successfully engage fathers in services that will improve safety, stability, well-being and permanency for the children through face to face casework. payrate: $40

Resource Family Support Services Coordinator- preserves, supports, and stabilizes foster family home placements, and promotes the well-being of children, youth, and families through face to face casework. payrate: $40per hour

Support Group Coordinator for Resource Families- leads a face-to-face support group services to local foster families assisting families in strengthen their relationships and promoting positive relationships between foster families and foster care managers. payrate: $40per hour

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Refer client to community resources and other organizations
  • Locating and engaging fathers- including those incarcerated or living out of state
  • Engage fathers in services that will reduce barriers to safety, stability, well-being, and permanency for their children
  • Identifying areas requiring assistance
  • Coordinate services
  • Parenting
  • Child Development courses
  • Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) support
  • Community Referrals and follow-up
  • Conflict management

Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete detailed notes and reports to document all services provided
  • Act as an advocate for client
  • Comply with all DCS and Agency mandated training and service standards
  • Possess a valid drivers license
  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Sociology, licensed BSW or a directly related human services degree with a minimum of 39 credit hours in human services course work.
