We are seeking an experienced (insert job title here and bold) for our (insert district here and bold) District office located in (insert city and province here and bold).

Assist the HSE Professional with inspections and incidental investigations
Manage documents (ie. data entry, SMC entries, taking minutes, filing etc.)
Assist with the orientation of new employees
Development of training materials
Reviewing paperwork (ie. PSI, tailgate meetings, safework procedure, trend analysis)
Monitor and maintain the environmental program
Recognize and follow PCL and local legislative requirements
Analyze site-specific trends and incidents and report findings to district
Gather/review/distribute safety-related statistical information
Interpret, communicate, and reinforce project safety standards to workforce

Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or diploma in health and safety or related field
Ability to implement HSE program elements and safe operating procedures
Knowledge of environmental requirements and the ability to implement systems which meet compliance
Ability to plan and employ preventative measures to reduce the risks of exposure to hazards
The ability to determine the cause of an incident, and to initiate and implement corrective action to prevent the likelihood of reoccurrence
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong willingness to learn
