Your Role at Baxter
A Project Leader at Baxter, drives projects, completes all required activities and delivers to the project scope. Project leader directly leads small projects or manages workstreams within larger business critical projects, all with regional or global impact There is a high level of interaction and influence with project team to ensure the team keeps the schedule and milestone commitments. Additionally, coordinates daily operations of Chem Store and Glass Laundry facilities that caters to all business segments & labs on site; the role also provides back office operations for Pharma R&D with minimal supervision. This role impacts the global R&D operations and is critical to meet uninterrupted cross-business segment support.

Lead team through project meetings and is main source of project status

Track and communicate project risks

Prepare, coordinate and own all project documentation

Build and maintain project timeline

Single point of contact for suppliers and shippers for business segment R&D

Identify and resolve issues in working with appropriate SMEs

Manage Baxter’s purchase order system activities:

Manage user access/accounts
-
Build and issue purchase orders, receive invoices, follow up on payment timing

Set up new suppliers in Baxter purchase order system involving procurement, cross functional teams and customer inputs
-
Chem Store and Glass Laundry Operational Management: Supervise direct and indirect reports. Conduct monthly manager-employee one on one meetings to discuss work tasks and professional development. Approve work of direct reports including purchase orders & monthly financial reports.

Assign and oversee employee’s daily workload and activities.

Other duties may be assigned
- Bachelor level degree or equivalent experience with 1-2 years project management experience, and 2 years of product life cycle experience

Experience working with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams.

Working Understanding of International Shipping requirements, SharePoint Sites and supplier & Purchasing Systems

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 to $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
