Nooklyn is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Manager to join our team at our Brooklyn location. This role is essential to ensuring our office runs smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing various administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Office Operations:
- Open and close the office daily, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Keep the office clean and tidy, maintaining a professional atmosphere.
- Key Management:
- Oversee our automated key system (KeyPal), ensuring access is managed effectively.
- Vendor Coordination:
- Manage cleaning vendors to ensure office cleanliness and upkeep.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment.
- Place orders for necessary items in a timely manner.
- Visitor Assistance:
- Welcome and assist visitors, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
- Mail and Packages:
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring proper distribution.
- Bookkeeping:
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing and expense tracking.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and other office software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
