POSITION SUMMARY
A Cultivation Associate will assist with coordination of all grow operations including: deep cleaning, potting, manicuring, harvesting and trimming, daily activities, quality assurance as well as assuring compliance with local, state, and federal licensing requirements. QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check (no felony convictions)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must display professionalism in appearance, actions, and communication
- Must have high energy and a positive attitude
- Must have cannabis knowledge; cannabinoids, terpenes, strains, desired effects & medical benefits, and basic plant care experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 25 pounds when required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization
- Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending or walking throughout the work day
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for executing production plans in keeping with the company’s operating procedures
- Carry out the day-to-day assignments and tasks of the medical Cannabis production cycle including cloning and harvesting
- Responsible for trimming up to company standards and reaching metrics set
- Responsible for cloning; cutting and transplanting, watering, labeling and inventory data input
- Responsible for plant care during vegetative and flowering phase: trimming, manipulating and staking, big leafing and pruning, watering, plant monitoring and inventory data input
- Responsible for harvesting; cutting plants, weighing and inventory data input
- Operating and maintaining cultivation systems/equipment; stocking and handling production inputs and supplies; sanitizing and cleaning growing rooms, cultivation workspaces and tools
- Packaging may be needed during peak times
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, deep cleaning must be done daily
- Follow all safety and compliance protocols set forth by the Cultivation Manager
- Additional duties as required
JOB SCOPE
Operates with direct supervision from Cultivation Manager. Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts. Must be able to deep clean daily and do physical work throughout the work day.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
