The Senior Manager of Amazon Merchandising is a new role reporting to the SVP, eCommerce, and Business Strategy and is responsible for the Merchandising of the Callisto catalog across Amazon. As a member of the Revenue Team, the Senior Manager will work directly with the SVP of eCommerce, Director of Performance Marketing, Portfolio Managers, and Creative Services team to ensure the product is presented effectively across all of Amazon.
Key areas of focus will include Product Detail page execution, seasonal promotional strategy, product launch coordination, backend metadata, and maintaining the Amazon storefront. This is a hands-on role that will evolve over time with an ongoing focus on building out the Amazon Playbook strategy, catalog management, A-B testing hypotheses, and cross-team coordination & execution. To be successful, you need to be strategically minded, capable of deriving insights from diverse and limited data sets and have the ability to execute across several competing priorities all with the focus on the consumer experience. It is critical you are a self-starter, capable of working in an environment with shifting priorities, a high level of project management skills, and proven analytical capability.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Amazon Merchandising experience with demonstrated capability of managing cross-functional teams and projects.

Owner of the Amazon Merchandise Strategy including all consumer touchpoints and KPIs across Callisto’s entire catalog

Manage the launch of all new products on Amazon ensuring Merchandising Strategy Best Practices are followed, pages are retail ready, track results from pre-order to post Launch, and make real-time changes to push product velocity higher via organic, paid, and promotion levers

Audit and optimize the post-launch product catalog for Best Practices throughout the Amazon platform

Utilize analytics to report out on KPIs, validate and prove playbook practices, and support the narrative for the future vision

Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to manage launches, enhance existing catalog, and optimized product detail pages Buy Flow funnel and consumer experience (e.g., bullets, A+ content, thumbnails)

Identify, define, and execute test and learn site merchandising strategy to improve best practices. Expert on Amazon’s current feature set for Vendor and Seller Central. Test and incorporate new features into the playbook as needed

Support the execution of the Amazon Channel Expansion strategy across new product lines and geographies

Work directly with Business Intelligence Team to document and advocate specific needs and data solutions

Design and develop reporting dashboards. Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed

5+ years of Amazon site merchandising or marketing experience

Proven experience using analytical tools to measure performance, A/B test, determine improvements and adjust. Prior Tableau experience a plus

Ability to lead cross-functional teams, build relationships internally, and manage projects

Comfortable with ambiguity while motivated to reduce its impact on the business

Confident in Excel as it pertains to data manipulation and analytics with the ability to use data to improve channel effectiveness

Prior experience with 3rd party Amazon software (e.g., Helium 10, JungleScout, Stackline, Merchantworlds) a plus

Strong communication skills, particularly with internal clients and managers

Ability to take initiative and work with a high level of independence

High judgment, bias for action, and demonstrated ability to deliver results

Excellent executive-level written and oral communication and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $170,000/Year.
