Powder coating department Team Lead - Monday through Friday. This position directs the day-to-day activity for all functions of the powder coat line. Must have previous experience and working knowledge of powder coating process and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with inspecting parts for paint preparation and non-conformance
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook
- Read basic drawings
- Inspect parts for non-conformance
- Clean and wash parts for painting
- Applies primer and/or paint using an electrostatic wand system, ensuring high-quality coverage according to customer specifications
- Perform thorough daily cleaning and preventative maintenance on paint equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Participates in continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment are properly used base on the task
- Follow control document procedures
- Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job
